MPowerHub Project Awarded NIDDK R01

C4 Center Director Ann-Marie Rosland and MoSHI Director Carissa Low are collaborating to pilot test MPowerHub, a mobile app that empowers adults to self-manage type 2 diabetes using continuous glucose monitors (CGM), Fitbit, and self-reported behaviors.

C4 Members Awarded 2023 Pitt CTSI Existing Data Resource Grant

C4 Core Member Margaret Zupa, Director Ann-Marie Rosland, and Affiliate Amber Johnson will explore how geographic, transportation, and internet access barriers impact the use of specialty care for adults with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and how widespread use of telemedicine since 2020 has impacted disparities in care utilization in their grant titled Geospatial Analysis of Disparities in Access to and Use of Metabolic Disease Specialty Care.
