Brenda Robles is a dedicated mathematics educator and coach who brings a strong commitment to equity, multilingual learner success, and student agency. As a mathematics fellow at the University of Pittsburgh’s Institute for Learning, she coaches teachers and instructional leaders in best practices for mathematics instruction and facilitates professional learning across multiple states.

Brenda began her career as a dual-language Spanish teacher in California, where she developed a deep passion for supporting multilingual learners through equitable and culturally responsive pedagogy. Guided by humility and curiosity, Brenda partners with educators and school systems to support shared efforts toward rigorous, student-centered math learning.

She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of California, Irvine, where she was honored with the President’s Educator Fellowship, and her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, San Bernardino.

Brenda continues to advocate for inclusive mathematics education that values students’ voices and lived experiences. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active in her local running community.
