The Pittsburgh FSRDC advances social science, business and health research by offering secure access to restricted-use federal data. Its mission is to foster innovative, multidisciplinary scholarship that informs public policy and expands scientific knowledge.  To learn more about the FSRDC system please visit the Census Bureau Website.

Location & Facilities

FSRDC Interior

The Pittsburgh FSRDC is located on the University of Pittsburgh campus. The facility provides a secure computing environment approved by the Census Bureau. Researchers work at dedicated workstations in an enclave with no internet or external device access, ensuring the highest standards of data confidentiality.
